hanging in there

I'm still here, and I'm still fat. Ha ha ha, I just had to write that. Anyways, the last couple of weeks have been rough, as far as sleep goes. And sleep deprivation and me, don't make a pretty couple. But, babes is coming around and has slept very well the past couple of nights. So, I think we are over the hump. Why does this matter you say? My time to workout is early in the morning, so that has been over looked and replaced by a comfortable warm bed instead. However, since I've slacked on working out, I have been careful with what goes in my mouth. We'll see at the weigh in I supposed. But, this week is a new week and hopefully a happy, sleepy baby!

better late than never

Sorry that I haven't posted or commented on any ones blogs! The last couple weeks have been CRAZY. Really really CRAZY and the craziness isn't ending soon. Is it this time of year? I guess so. Aside from being busy, I'm conscience about what I eat, which is good considering birthday cake is all around me. Ha ha ha, oh and it's the Costco cake. Yummy and so easy to eat a ton of. Getting up to workout, a challenge. With a 4 month old, sleep isn't something that I get a lot of. I have realized that that is just something I have to get used to and not use as an excuse. I'm not going to skip my runs and workouts because babes didn't sleep. Not gonna do it. I hope everyone else is doing well and I promise to check out blogs soon.

pictures....not the ones that should be here.

I was just looking through some old pictures and found these. Good motivation for me. I did this once, I can do this again. Only this time, I'll be thinner. I could run 18miles + with no problem, but I wasn't loosing any weight at that point because I was having to eat so many calories. So, this time I'm going about it differently. Instead of training for a marathon right away, I'll run (keep my miles between 4-8) and do some extra cardio to burn fat. Once I'm to my desired weight, or close to it, I'll train for another marathon. Maybe a half this time. I LOVED it, it was the best. To work so hard for something, set goals and kick a along the way and then actually DO IT...the best feeling ever. Don't worry Alicia, I'll get there again. Terri and I, all pumped up for our 10 miler.
Ahhhh...I want that again.


Say Cheese

As much as I DON'T want to take a picture of myself in my current condition...LOL....I'm going to do it. I think it'll be good for me, a good motivator. Maybe I'll hang it on my pantry door since I love to snack. That might do the trick. I understand people's frustrations about changing the rules mid-game, but buck-up...just take the photos!! So, pictures to come...and I might even post them.
